Why China is Planning Ahead; It will Cost You Big Time!

Why a small area in the Kurdish Region is costing you money.

 Part of my platform is to bring good paying jobs to Sacramento and to the country.  Here is just a snapshot of what’s going on a half a world away.

China is again on a buying spree for energy companies.  China’s State owned Sinopec Group just purchased Addax Petroleum for about $7.1 billion.

Why is this even worthy of an article?  Let’s pull back the curtain and take a look.

China has been busy buying up energy and financing companies in Russia, Brazil, Venezuela and Kazakhstan.  This new purchase of Addax puts them in the oil-rich offshore area of West Africa and in the Kurdish region of Iraq.  Now stay with me here. Iraq… why should that ring a bell?  Considering we just saved their country and spent billions doing so, wouldn’t you think the US would be the first one to get some payback for the billions the US taxpayer is on the hook for?

Iraqi oil minister Hussain al-Shahristani just gave approval for foreign oil companies to develop oil in the Kurdish region. Addax is the only company currently shipping oil from that region.  Now owned by the Chinese!   China uses 8 million barrels of oil per day.  This new source will add 136,500 per day instantly. Remember China is also pumping in Cuba and in Nigeria.  I ask you?  How come the US is not getting a slice of the pie?  Don’t you think Iraq should at least pay us back or give us some sort of preferential treatment for setting them free?

With the current administrations distaste of oil, our competitor countries are buying everything in site.  Unless we reverse this trend and start drilling for US oil we will become the largest debtor nation in the world.  Our economy will no longer be able to support itself when the cost for a gallon of gas goes over $5.00.  Meanwhile governments like China will prosper and hold us hostage to their goods and services, and oil.

Waiting for windmills and solar panels to generate enough energy is a pipe dream for the next 30 years.  The only options that we can do today is drill for Oil, build Nuclear Reactors, and burn Clean Coal.  I am all for getting off foreign oil first and then developing our own alternate enegy source at the same time.  We simply cannot go straight to green without killing our economy in this global economy.

Time to wake up America.  We are quickly becoming an image in the rear view mirror for countries like China.  When gas goes up to $4-5 per gallon remember this little deal between Iraq and China.  How much more pain can you take?

My Proposal to take back America!

I will propose an immediate halt to all the lawsuits on existing approved leases in the Country and California.  Two, I will make it attractive for companies to come to Sacramento and California to build Oil Rigs and the components.  With existing approved leases California is short 62 platforms today.  At a cost of $1.5 billion per unit, we will become the job capital of the nation.

We need leadership in California and in Washington D.C. I am ready!
